Uh-oh, it appears Shakira’s famous hips have been bitten by “The Twilight Bug.” And by “The Twilight Bug” we mean the singer has a mild case of “The Stalkers” for series star Robert Pattinson.
The 32-year-old star couldn’t stop giggling about the on-screen vamp in an interview with MTV News this week. Shakira revealed that she is a “big fan” of the Twilight franchise and admitted that she is “very intrigued” by Pattz, the down-to-earth Brit who is quickly becoming everyone’s fantasy prom date.
“No, no, no. I’m too old. I can’t say those things! I mean, how old is he? 23? 24? You are getting me in trouble! I heard he’s a great singer and a great musician as well… I’m very intrigued,”
she told MTV News’ Tim Kash Tuesday.
“Know why I watched Twilight?… The president of my label said, ‘Have you checked out Twilight? It’s about wolves and about, um, vampires and things, and I’m like that’s up my alley, where is it?’”
Shakira’s comeback album — featuring the new single “She Wolf” — will be released in October.
