The actress posted on Twitter, “Been having to take ‘accent elimination’ classes, to sound more American in new film.” When asked by a fan to elaborate, she replied, “I’m under confidentialty for now, but that’s why I’m taking hip-hop dance classes.”
Mallika’s character has been inspired by San Francisco Attorney General Kamala Harris. The actress, with over 6,000 followers on Twitter, shall soon be visiting Twitter’s San Francisco office today — a first for any Indian celebrity.
