Hollywood seems to be doing more than Bollywood for actress Mallika Sherawat. Well, so what if it’s not for films, she would still be seen representing India internationally, for the lady has been invited to be a special guest at a big beauty event in LA. Mallika has been invited to LA for the Miss India-America contest, scheduled for August 7. The beauty pageant is one of the most talked about Indian shows in the US. The contestants are single girls of Indian origin, at least 16 years old, who are residents of that country.
Reports reveal that this is going to be the 18th edition of Miss India-America, and would include a fashion show for a charitable cause by Indian designer Pria Kataria Puri. It is being believed that Mallika has been invited to glamourise the event with her much talked about sex appeal.
However, it’s still not confirmed if she is going to walk the ramp, but a performance with Kiely Williams, the lead singer of ‘The Cheetah Girls’, is on the agenda.
It seems that Aishwarya’s not the only one to be taking India places.
