Aamir Khan is a sad man today. The actor, who was expecting a child with his wife Kiran, received a blow after she suffered a miscarriage. Though the couple had tried to keep Kiran’s reported pregnancy a secret from the media, the news was confirmed after the dainty lass made endless visits to the hospital. The actor has now come out and spoken about the sad incident on his blog.
"I have bad news folks. Kiran and I lost our baby. Despite our best efforts we were unable to avert a miscarriage. The last two months have been a struggle for us and that is one of the reasons I was absent from the blog in more ways than one. I need time to heal. I will be away for a while," Aamir posted on his blog aamirkhan.com.
Buzz has it that the pregnancy was complicated right from the initial stages and it was for this reason that the couple had not gone public with the news. And though the doctors had initially stated that all was under control, it took a grave turn after the fey beauty was admitted to the Beach Candy hospital in June, when she was said to be three months pregnant.
It’s sure a testing time for the couple and we hope they have the strength to sail through this period smoothly.
