Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has out-earned other Hollywood big wigs to clinch the top spot in Forbes list of the 'Top Earning Celebrities Over 50'.
The 55-year-old media mogul, who took in a whopping $ 275 million between last June and June 2009, equaled the
combined earnings of George Lucas and Madonna, reported the magazine online.
George Lucas, the 65-year-old Hollywood writer-director, has taken the second spot with an income of $ 170 million, largely with earnings from the fourth Indiana Jones installment and Star Wars rights.
Lucas' school friend Steven Spielberg bagged the third spot on the list. The filmmaker earned an estimated $ 150 million from his stake in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and continued returns from previous projects.
Other big names on the top 10 include comedian Jerry Seinfeld, Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford, Material Girl Madonna, Pirates of the Caribbean creator Jerry Bruckheimer and rocker Bruce Springsteen.
