What went wrong?
The better question would be what went right, if anything at all? Doherty’s drug use was the main reason why both of his bands fell apart. He worked as a gay prostitute and a dealer to support his habit, he was caught red-handed on numerous occasions with drugs, but it is like he was born with Get-out-of-jail-for-free card as judges keep letting him walk.
And I ask you who would pay for sex with that man? Honestly! Although when you think about it Kate Moss did it voluntarily. He tried rehab on number of times, but it never worked out.
His relationship with Kate Moss was well documented, she performed with him a number of times and they were even engaged at one point however she kicked his arse to the curb not because of him being disgusting (honestly is she blind or something?) but because he cheated on her.

When it went downhill?
It was a known fact that Wino was prone to self harm, depression and drugs. But the downward spiral started about the same time Wino got married to Blake Fiedel – Civil. Their numerous nasty and sometimes violent fights were well documented by English tabloids. Their excursion to rehab lasted 5 days. One arrest for possession of cannabis, one canceled tour, one overdose, one picture of Amy wandering around in her bra and jeans, one husband in jail and one video of her smoking crack later – Wino finally said yes to rehab.

What went wrong?
Oh Lord what didnt? Erratic behavior started about the time she gave birth to her second child and filed for the divorce from K-Fed. And it was downhill from there. Whether it is postpartum depression or bipolar disorder, add drugs and alcohol into the mix and you have the perfect recipe for disaster.
It started with her showing her vajayjay to the world then proceeded with the shaven head and visit to rehab. She lost her kids, has taken to drive around aimlessly and started to hang out with the papparazis. It was a source of amusement for a while, however it stopped being funny long time ago.

Child model, child actor, then the queen of teenage slushies as I like to call them with biggest success The Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. Made the obvious transition to singing and recorded 2 albums that did quite well.

If I was a snarky kind I’d say things went wrong when her mum decided to turn her into a cash cow. But Lindsay was quite capable of screwing up on her own. Partying, booze and drugs landed her in rehab 3 times in 2007, but she also became quite famous for her man-eating ways as she seems to go through high profile bad boys with astonishing speed. Another thing she shares with her frienemy Paris Hilton is DUI charges. Her sentence was one day in jail and 10 days of community services. Although she is adamant that she changed her ways, gossip mill of late paints a different picture.

Well for being famous. The only thing she does have, unlike all the rest wannabe celebrities is money. Did some modeling when she was younger, but her big debut came with reality TV series The Simple Life. She also starred in a number of TV shows and movies (typically she is cast as a dumb blonde, I wonder why?). Most of her films bombed. She also “wrote” 2 books, recorded an album, released a number of fragrances and endorsed anything under the sun.
What went wrong?
My guess is nothing really, Paris is just where she wants to be. But she became notorious with the release of her sex tape. That was when Paris was unleashed onto the world and she has been in the media spotlight ever since. She was charged for DUI and got 36 months probation, but she was caught driving without a license. In the end although it was said she would serve 40 days of home confinement, she spent 22 days in LA’s jail. The day after she was released from jail she appeared on Larry King and talked about her Bible reading ways and vowed to changed. But as she does seem to have an attention span of a goldfish Paris soon forgot about her vows and its business as usual with swinging from the chandeliers in clubs to bitch-slapping Lindsay Lohan.

Her role of Mary Jane Watson or Spidey’s romantic interest in all 3 Spiderman movies. Kissing Brad Pitt at the age of 11 in Interview with the Vampire and then having the gall to complain about his dry lips. My dear, its fracking Brad Pitt; you get him a lip balm not complain. Tsk!
She also dated Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhall for a while.
What went wrong?
Or should I say when it went wrong and my guess is about the time she broke up with Gyllenhall and started dating Johnny Borrell of Razorlight. She was spotted stumbling out of pubs looking a bit worse for wear. It seems Johnny Borrell does have that effect on the ladies. There were some rumors about erratic behavior during the Sundance festival this year and at the beginning of February reports emerged she checked herself into rehab. Her publicist and the kind people at the Cirque Lodge, Utah (who are becoming like a local ER for the Hollywood set) denied the reports.

What went wrong?
She started hanging out with Nicole Ritchie and that lot. One of the lollipop heads, Mischa seems to favor booze and prescription drugs. She collapsed on one occasion, but it was dismissed as a flu or something of the sort. I think the excuse was Mischa didn’t know she should not mix antibiotics and alcohol.
In 2007 she was pulled over and not only she was caught driving under the influence, without a valid license, but also with a stash of weed on her. Contrite Mischa was seen a few days later going to a church. Sure that will help. It seems to run in the family though as her younger sister ended up in rehab twice already.

Her roles on The Fast and Furious, Resident Evil, SWAT and her short stint on hit series Lost. In 2002 she made the Maxim’s Sexiest women list at number 34.
What went wrong?
Rodriguez was arrested on number of occasion for DUIs and hit and run. She was slapped with fines, went to jail for 48 hours and performed community service. But she was placed on probation for 3 years. While filming Lost in Hawaii, she was caught speeding 4 times and finally again for driving under the influence.
Because she has violated the terms of her probation Michelle Rodriguez went to jail again but was released on the same day because of overcrowding. She also did not comply with her community service or alcohol rehabilitation program. Finally she went to jail and even though she was supposed to stay for 180 days she was released after 18. For 4 years she did not make any movies which gave the impression she is being blacklisted because of her substance abuse and legal issues.
Rodriguez’s sex life is also a topic of much speculation, as it is unclear if she is straight, gay, bisexual or just confused.

What is he famous for? Son of Donald Sutherland and the famous Jack Bauer of hit series 24 (although many fans would agree that the last season was somewhat lackluster). Before he was Jack Bauer he made movies such as Flatliners, Young Guns, A Time to Kill and Stand by Me.
What went wrong?
Sutherland has been known for his partying ways long before Paris Hilton came along and reinvented the term. But he stayed under the radar until he was arrested for DUI in September of last year. It was his 2nd DUI arrest.
Some rumors suggest that several episodes of 24 had to be rewritten to incorporate Sutherland’s partying injuries into the plot.. Sutherland was sentenced to 48 days in jail and the plan was to do his sentence before and after the production of 24 wraps up. However because of the writers strike and suspended production, he spent all 48 days in jail in one go. He was there for Christmas, New Years and his birthday and had one visitor. He spent his time doing laundry duty.

The face of Calvin Klein, Burberry and H&M to name a few, Kate Moss is the epitome of anti-supermodel who managed to become a success even though she is on the short side and looks like a waif (which although might come as a shock was not look du jour in the 80s). She is hailed as the icon of style and known for her relationships with high profile men.
What went wrong?
Hacks in England speculated about Kate’s cocaine use for years, but it was Daily Mirror that exposed her as Cocaine Kate. She was caught on film snorting line after line of coke during Baby Shambles recording session. After the scandal few fashion houses did terminate their contract with Cocaine Kate, however at the moment her modeling career is thriving.
She was connected with a string of very famous men, but the man that was almost the undoing of her was Pete Doherty of Babyshambles. Their breaking up and making up filled the tabloids for months on end. But Kate decided to finally dump Pete’s ass after he cheated on her with another model (although anyone normal would take one look at him and dump his ass, the man is a walking health hazard).

Dubbed the Black Panther for her characteristic catwalk style, Naomi was one of the supermodels of the 80s. She graced the covers of more then 500 magazines and she was also one of the first black cover girls on a good number of them. Naomi appeared in a number of videos with musicians such as George Michael and Michael Jackson. She recorded an album (which flopped) and launched a line of perfumes (that did not flop). She is also known for dating high profile men.
What went wrong?
To say Naomi has a bit of a anger management problem is an understatement. One of her favorite pastime is to slap her assistants around and assault them with mobile phones. She even threatened to push one of her assistants out of a moving car. If she is not careful she will have to resort to Craigslist to find help in the future.
The latest physical confrontation left her mopping floors as a part of community service and she showed up for that one in stilettos. Currently she is working as a managing editor for GQ (scored interviews with the likes of Chavez and Argentinean president Cristina Fernandez). I do hope she will not try and have it out with them as well.

What is she famous for? A model and an actress, starred in Alfie, Casanova and Factory Girl.
What went wrong?
Sienna Miller started dating Jude Law. And since then she has been a subject of interest to gossip columnists. Relationship with Jude Law did not last long however as he cheated on Sienna with his children’s nanny. They had a brief reunion but nothing came out of it.
Since then she has been dating a number of high profile men but her latest conquest is Scottish actor Rhys Ifans (you might remember him as Spikey from Notting Hill, you know Hugh Grant’s seedy looking roommate with dirty underwear). Sienna Miller is also known for her partying lifestyle and being pals with Kate Moss, however since she hooked up Rhys Ifans they have been having numerous cat fights over him. Did you see what he looks like? Honestly.

The limo scene in No Way Out with Kevin Costner. Also appeared in Dune, Fatal Instinct and Boost. Sean Young has received quite a few Razzie nominations over the years – she was nominated 7 times and won twice.
What went wrong?
To say Sean Young’s career has been problematic is putting it mildly. She had a role as Michael Douglas’ wife in Wall Street, but her time on screen was reduced because of the clash with Oliver Stone. She was fired from Dick Tracy (she says because she turned down the famous womanizer Warren Beaty, which he denied). Sean Young stalked James Woods, who sued her and she lost the role in Batman movie because she broke her arm before the filming began. She tried to get a role in the next Batman movie – she even went as far as making her own Catwoman outfit and appearing on the set to confront the director Tim Burton.
Crazy is as crazy does. Meltdown came not long ago when she got kicked out of Directors Guild Awards. Sean Young was pissed and kept heckling people on stage so she got thrown out. Currently she is in rehab.

Being one of the Baldwin brothers, he is most famous for his role on the TV show Homicide: Life on Streets. He married 4 times (at least at the last check) and did a stint on Celebrity Fit Club. He also took part in Celebrity Rehab with dr. Drew as he had a problem with cocaine addiction since 1989 (what is it with Baldwin brothers and reality TV, honestly).
What went wrong?
Running naked around Plaza Hotel in New York, that’s not really acceptable is it? Me thinks cocaine will do that to you. He also crashed into 2 parked cars and he was charged for grand-theft auto. Apparently he took a friend’s car and the unnamed friend did not even know about it.
He repeatedly fails to show up for his court hearings and was a part of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew but walked out in 4th episode. It seems he tried to be friendly with another patient (?) Mary Carey the adult film star who says he asked for her saucy pictures just after he finished talking about his wife and new-born baby. Daniel Baldwin is still at large.

Gibson started drinking at the age of 13 (his own words) and has been battling alcohol addiction ever since. He has been arrested on 2 occasion and during the last DUI he made a number of Anti-Semitic remarks which caused quite a scandal in Hollywood. Whether it is drink or that’s just the way he is, it seems political correctness is an unknown term in his vocabulary. He was accused of homophobia and anti-Semitism on more then one occasion. He later apologized and completed his DUI education program along with the regular AA meetings and he is on probation for the next 18 months.

The most infamous Hollywood Madame with little black book that could made grown men weep. Literally. After all her little black book was a Who is Who in Hollywood.
What went wrong?
Heidi Fleiss had a rather successful operation going that was until she was arrested and charged for operating a prostitution ring, tax evasion and pandering. She served 21 months in prison while none of her customers were charged. She was involved with Tom Sizemore and she accused him of domestic violence and other violent behavior, one of which includes making obscene phone calls.
One would think in her line of work she had heard it all, but there you go. She has a boutique in Hollywood called Hollywood Madame (very original!) and plans to built a brothel in the state of Nevada called Heidi Fleiss’ Stud Farm. She was arrested for DUI and illegal possession of prescription drugs.

He was also one of 50 most beautiful people in the world according to People magazine and his marriage to Nicole Kidman made them one of the most stylish and influential couples in Hollywood (if you ignore the difference in height).
What went wrong?
He started dating Katie Holmes and jumping on the couch. Well at least that is my guess. After a whirlwind romance the couple had a baby (Suri still remains one of the most photographed toddlers in the world) and they married in 2006. Cruise is a long time supporter of the Church of Scientology but over the recent years he went into an overdrive with his shall we call it enthusiasm? Combine that with the Holmes romance (that was rumored to be a publicity stunt) Cruise went from one of the America’s most influential celebrities and a heartthrob to a subject of parodies and scorn. The recent scandal involved a leaked video of Cruise babbling on about Scientology on youtube and the unauthorized biography by Andrew Morton. Cruise’s lawyer dismissed the allegations made in the book as a bunch of sick stuff.

Paula started her career as a cheerleader for LA Lakers. She was a sought-out choreographer and she made a string of her own hits that even won her Grammies. Her latest stint was the performance of her new single at the Super Bowl.
What went wrong?
After the release of her second album Spellbound, Paula confessed to be suffering from bulimia. After her 3rd album she took a hiatus and was not to be seen until she started to appear on American Idol as a judge. She is known for her compassionate nature, however her behavior is somewhat erratic. Her speech was slurred on more then one occasion but she has attributed it a rare neurological syndrome stating she never got drunk or took drugs in her life. Erm ok but that does not mean she is not taking prescription meds. Her reality show on Bravo TV saw her crying all over the place on more then one occasion and of course bombed with the viewers.

Well hello, who has not heard of the Hoff? The Hoff is famous for his roles on Knight Rider and Baywatch and did you know his records oh yes records! were hits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland? He was also the judge on America Got Talent alongside Sharon Osborne and Piers Morgan.
What went wrong?
The Hoff has been on and off the wagon more times then the train driver. In 2002 he went to a rehab center and he was also arrested on more then one occasion for DUI. The Hoff was also forbidden from boarding a British Airways flight due to his intoxication (although his publicist claims he was under the influence of antibiotics, yeah right!).
He divorced his 2nd wife Pamela Bach after 16 years of marriage and she has accused him of violent behavior. But his biggest trainwreck moment so far (and there were many) was a video of him slumped drunk on the floor, eating a hamburger and being obviously pissed as a rat’s arse. Video was shot by his daughter and leaked on the Internet.

20. Keith Richards

Famous for:
Founding member of one the biggest rock and roll band in history the Rolling Stones and his quite open drug use. Oh and his guitar playing is not half bad as well.
What went wrong?
Keith became notorious in 60s and 70s. Dad worked security at one of their concerts and took my mum backstage in an attempt to woo her. To this day, she dismisses them as arrogant pricks as the concert was late for an hour because Mick decided to play basketball. Ah well, I quite like their music. But I jest.
Very early on Keith was quite open about his drug use and was caught many times with illegal substances (they called it expanding their minds in them days). As Robin Williams delightfully put it after a nuclear holocaust the only one left standing would be Keith Richards and the cockroaches. Even though he is an old fossil, Keith has not changed his ways much. In 2006 he stated he stopped taking drugs, not because of his health but because drugs were not strong enough anymore. He managed to fall off a coconut tree which delayed the Rolling Stones tour in 2006. Asked about what was the weirdest drug he has ever taken he stated he snorted his dad’s ashes. All together – ewwww.

What went wrong?
Her movies started to bomb at the box-office. Sharon Stone got involved with different charities. One of her more brilliant moments was when she turned a panel in Davos into an impromptu fund raiser. She managed to raise million dollars in 5 minutes for mosquito nets in Tanzania. FYI, mosquito nets are distributed for free in public hospitals. She got slammed as for that by UNICEF.
Sharon also received an award for helping raise awareness about the HIV and AIDS. She suffered a stroke in 2001. Her behavior has been erratic and somewhat controversial – claiming she is a lesbian one minute then saying she is straight, I know she is blond but at her age she should be able to make up her mind about it.

Apart from her inclination to change husbands frequently and being borderline offensive at times (although she used to do stand-up at one point it is to be expected) of late Roseanne has started to have an opinion about everything and everyone. What is worse she has discovered Internet at the same time. So her visitors are subjected to tirades about gay people, presidential candidates and her boots? Don’t ask me I went to check it out, but even if you ignore all the profanities it is still difficult to make heads or tails of it. Roseanne was hilarious once, now it is just a bit sad.

All seemed well until quite recently in fact. Eva Mendes is obviously a freak of nature in Hollywood as she was never papped a) under the influence and b) showing her vajayjay to the world. Be as it may, she has checked herself into rehab (of course at Cirque Lodge in Utah) for undisclosed personal issues she feels deserved outside help. Whether it is drugs or alcohol none knows at this point, however it would be a shame to see such a gorgeous and talented woman pull a Britney and start driving around aimlessly going ape shit.

Owen Wilson tried to commit suicide by slashing his wrists and taking a number of pills. Reports suggest he had a drug problem for a while and that he tried to commit suicide on more then one occasion however that was unconfirmed. After the incident he has decided to stay out of rehab and hire a sober companion to be with him when he is not under the watchful eyes of his family members. It seems Owen is slowly on the mend but only time will tell.

What went wrong?
Well Lily Allen was a bit problematic from a very early age, in face she has managed to get expelled from 13 school for smoking, drinking and performing fellatio. She has also spent 4 weeks in Priory (British version of Cirque Lodge) after an attempted suicide and was an ecstasy dealer at the age 15 when she decided to drop out of school.
Although without a doubt talented, Lily Allen is more known for her big mouth and insulting anyone and everyone (some of her targets include George Bush, Amy Winehouse, Bob Geldof and Kylie Minogue to name a few). Her recent endeavor is a talk show in which the audience members are her friends from MySpace. The reports from the first taping suggested some of her audience left because the show was boring, but Lily claims they left because the taping run late and they had a train to catch. Hm ok any excuse.

Nothing much. And her contract was not terminated. It has to be said that she was luckier then most because many actors would have not survived such a scandal and managed to keep the job. Not with Disney anyway (poor Walt is turning in his grave).

I think the reason given was dehydration or some other bullshit publicists came up with. In April 2007 dog fighting facilities were found at his estate in Virginia and Vick was sentenced to 23 months in jail, but he also has 2 state felony charges hanging and if convicted he might face up to 10 years in jail.
Vick was suspended indefinitely by the NFL. Vick had to repay almost 20 million dollars to the Atlanta Falcons for the bonus he received and all of his endorsements have been terminated.

He failed numerous drug tests and even resorted to faking a drug test.

O.J. Simpson’s ex-wife and her current lover were found dead in front of his wife’s apartment. Simpson was soon charged with murder, however he did not turn himself in and decided to try and escape from law enforcement in his Ford Bronco.
When he was put on trial it was dubbed the trial of the century. When the verdict was in, it was watched by more the a half of American population. Simpson was declared not guilty, however in civil case he was declared guilty and he had to pay $33.5 millions in damages to the families of the victims. In 2006 he wrote a book If I did it (how stupid do you have to be I wonder?), but it was withdrawn by the publishers. In 2007 Simpson was arrested for armed burglary. He tried to steal some sports shit he claims belongs to him. His current girlfriend was hospitalized with head injuries. According to him she was drunk and fell over. Hm do I see a pattern here?
