The Best Music Videos That Never Won A Moonman

MTV is introducing a new award for this years VMA's called The Best Video That Should Have Won A Moonman Award. MTV's picks are pretty good, but they're forgetting a lot of great videos. Here are my picks for 24 awesome music videos that should've won


1. “Smooth Criminal” Michael Jackson
 


Nominated for 3 VMA's in 1989. He to Paula Abdul for both dance and choreography awards.
2. “Baby One More Time” Britney Spears
 



Nominated for 4 VMA's in 1999. She lost Best New Artist to Eminem.
3. “Stan” Eminem
 


Nominated for 5 VMA's in 2001. Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya & Pink beat Eminem out for Video Of The Year with “Lady Marmalade.”
4. “Bittersweet Symphony” The Verve
 


Nominated for 3 awards in 1998. Madonna's “Ray of Light” beat the Verve out for Video of The Year.
6. “Mo Money Mo Problems” Notorious BIG
 


Nominated for Best Rap Video in 1997, “Mo Money” lost to Will Smith's “Gettin Jiggy Wit It.”
7. “Basket Case” Green Day
 


Nominated for 9 awards in 1995! It lost Video of The Year and Best Group Video to TLC's “Waterfalls.”
8. “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” Missy Elliot
 


Nominated for 3 awards in 1997 including Best Rap Video. She lost that one to Notorious BIG's “Hypnotize.”
9. “Baby Got Back” Sir Mix Alot
 


Nominated for 3 awards in 1992 including Best Rap Video. Sir Mix Alot lost to Arrested Development's “Tennessee” for that one.
10. “No Rain” Blind Melon

 

Believe it or not, this was never nominated for a VMA. Bee girl!
11. “Learn To Fly” The Foo Fighters
 


Nominated for 2 awards in 2000 including Best Group Video. It lost that one to Blink 182's “All The Small Things.”
12. “Fantasy” Mariah Carey
 


Never nominated. Should have been nominated in 1996.
13. “Together Again” Janet Jackson
 


Nominated for Best Dance Video in 1998. It lost to Prodigy's “Smack My Bitch Up.”
15. “Paranoid Android” Radiohead




Nominated for only Breakthrough Video at the 1998 awards. “Paranoid Android” lost to Jamiroquai's “Virtual Insanity.”
16. “Faith” George Michael
 


Never nominated. Should have been nominated at the 1988 awards.
17. “Black or White” Michael Jackson
 


Nominated for only Best Special Effects in 1992. It lost that one to U2's “Even Better Than the Real Thing.”
18. “The Boy Is Mine” Brandy and Monica
 


Nominated for 2 awards in 1998. It lost to Wyclef's “Gone Till November” for Best R&B Video.

Never nominated. Should have been nominated in 1995.

Nominated for 4 awards in 2004. Britney lost to Beyonce's “Naughty Girl” for Best Female Video. WTF.
24. “Say You'll Be There” The Spice Girls




Nominated for only the Viewers Choice Award in 1997. They lost to Prodigy.
