MTV is introducing a new award for this years VMA's called The Best Video That Should Have Won A Moonman Award. MTV's picks are pretty good, but they're forgetting a lot of great videos. Here are my picks for 24 awesome music videos that should've won
1. “Smooth Criminal” Michael Jackson
Nominated for 3 VMA's in 1989. He to Paula Abdul for both dance and choreography awards.
2. “Baby One More Time” Britney Spears
Nominated for 4 VMA's in 1999. She lost Best New Artist to Eminem.
3. “Stan” Eminem
Nominated for 5 VMA's in 2001. Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya & Pink beat Eminem out for Video Of The Year with “Lady Marmalade.”
4. “Bittersweet Symphony” The Verve
Nominated for 3 awards in 1998. Madonna's “Ray of Light” beat the Verve out for Video of The Year.
6. “Mo Money Mo Problems” Notorious BIG
Nominated for Best Rap Video in 1997, “Mo Money” lost to Will Smith's “Gettin Jiggy Wit It.”
7. “Basket Case” Green Day
Nominated for 9 awards in 1995! It lost Video of The Year and Best Group Video to TLC's “Waterfalls.”
8. “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” Missy Elliot
Nominated for 3 awards in 1997 including Best Rap Video. She lost that one to Notorious BIG's “Hypnotize.”
9. “Baby Got Back” Sir Mix Alot
Nominated for 3 awards in 1992 including Best Rap Video. Sir Mix Alot lost to Arrested Development's “Tennessee” for that one.

Believe it or not, this was never nominated for a VMA. Bee girl!

Nominated for 2 awards in 2000 including Best Group Video. It lost that one to Blink 182's “All The Small Things.”

Never nominated. Should have been nominated in 1996.
